The Social Impact Cluster is the business leadership meeting point focused on increasing business ambition in sustainability, accelerating action with a focus on the Social 'S', and enhancing partnerships and collaborations among its members and with leading institutions and organizations.
 
The cluster - ledin 2025 by Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar, Mahou San Miguel, Naturgy and Ilunion - is made up of more than 50 large companies, including companies listed on the IBEX 35, subsidiaries of multinationals, public companies and family businesses.
 
The key priorities of the new European Commission and the levers for action to internalize the new paradigm, the challenges of social reporting standards, and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion(DEI) aspects will focus the work of this initiative in 2025.

Driving ambition

To develop a leadership position in social impact for the participating companies, making the cluster a Spanish business benchmark in this area.

Accelerate action

To transfer to the Spanish context the main trends and conversations that are taking place worldwide from a business perspective. Contribute to generate greater knowledge and accelerate business action and commitment in this area.

Strengthening alliances

Work together with public administrations and opinion leaders to have a positive impact on the national context.

Each year, the Social Impact Cluster focuses on the most relevant and urgent issues from a business point of view in the social sphere, analyzing the main challenges and opportunities that will set the sustainability agenda in the short and medium term.
 
In 2025, the initiative focuses on landing the key actions to internalize the new priorities of the European Commission, such as supplier management, risks in the value chain, the focus on innovation and technology, or the social discourse of competitiveness.
 
In addition, the first reporting reports under the CSRD with a social lens (ESRS S1-S4) will be analyzed to address common questions and challenges. Finally, focus will be placed on the importance of the DEI strategy and health and wellness in the workplace as a driver of talent attraction and retention.
  • In the first part of the edition, we will explore the regulatory context under the new European Commission - such as the Clean Industrial Deal, omnibus package, or the European Pillar of Social Rights - and the key business actions to address this new paradigm.
  • In the second part of this edition, we will take a practical and grounded look at the application of social ESRS and the challenges they imply for companies at this time of transition and regulatory deployment. 
  • At the close of the edition, we will hold the IV Forética DEI, the 4thBusiness Forum on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, with the participation of both institutional and senior management of the leading companies in the initiative and other leading organizations in the field. 

Forética, as a national partner of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), maintains a direct relationship of collaboration with the areas involved in social impact issues. In addition, since 2019, it has been an ally of the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), an international benchmark organization in measuring the impact and contribution of the business sector to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In addition, Forética is the first Spanish organization to join theEqual Pay International Coalition (EPIC). With this alliance, Forética joins the coalition led by the International Labor Organization (ILO), UN Women and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The commitment of this coalition is to work for the reduction of the gender pay gap at an international level and with a multi-sectoral vision.
