The Transparency and Good Governance Cluster is established as a business platform, coordinated by Forética in Spain, created with the objective of promoting asustainable corporate governance modeland address different issues related to transparency and good governance.management of ESG aspectsaspects, transferring themain trendsin governance and regulation, and serving as a meeting point and serving as a meeting point for companies to share their views on theand exchange knowledge and expertise..

This business platform, coordinated by Forética and led by CaixaBank, Cuatrecasas, Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar and Workiva, together with more than 60 participating companies, aims tomake visible the progress and good practices of the business sector in the integration of sustainability and good governance aspects.in the strategy of companies, as well as acting as an interlocutor with ministries, public administrations and regulatory bodies.

Each year, the Cluster focuses its work on topical issues that are addressed through a public event and private meetings exclusively for the companies in the group.

Theactivity of the Transparency and Good Governance Cluster in 2025will focus on working together with the more than 60 companies companies that make up the cluster, on different topics that are key due to their topicality and impact on organizations:

En la primera parte del año, pondremos foco en el momento de incertidumbre regulatoria en el que nos encontramos en materia de sostenibilidad corporativa. Con un nuevo marco de reporte sobre el que se abren numerosas incógnitas como es el proceso de simplificación que plantea la UE, resulta necesario hacer un análisis sobre en qué punto estamos y qué es lo que se espera.
Entorno a esta temática, celebraremos el evento “Sustainable Governance Forum: Encrucijada regulatoria ESG” el día 24 de marzo a las 12.00h en el auditorio de Cuatrecasas (C/ de Almagro, 9, 28010 Madrid).

Otro de los temas en los que se centrará el trabajo del Clúster es en la CSRD y el análisis de los primeros reportes que se publiquen bajo este marco, poniendo especial atención en cuestiones relevantes como la materialidad o la cuantificación de los IROS, estructura de informe y la comparabilidad entre distintos informes.

Forética, as a national partner of theWorld Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), as a national partner of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)maintains close collaboration with the Redefining Value area when working on issues related to the reporting of non-financial or sustainability information, sustainable governance or ESG risk management.

Since 2023, Forética, from its Transparency and Good Governance Cluster, has joined the alliance for sustainability of IFRSThrough this membership, Forética will offer its accumulated knowledge in the area of sustainability and reporting and, simultaneously, Forética's partner companies and organizations will benefit from the resources and competencies of IFRS in this area.
