The Climate Change Cluster's activity in 2023 focuses on one of the key mechanisms for achieving the net-zero objective: the energy transition.
During the year 2023, the Cluster will address the main issues related to progress towards a decarbonized economy, trying to analyze the energy and climate framework and business action towards the energy transition.
In the first part of this edition, we will deepen the analysis of the European and national energy and climate framework, in addition to analyzing the general context of the energy transition. The purpose will be to understand the European and national energy objectives and the energy situation, as well as the analysis of the main public financing instruments for renewable energies and decarbonization.
In the middle of the year, we will continue to make progress in the field of energy transition, but on this occasion, focusing on business action. To this end, the business case of the energy transition will be analyzed and business experiences on progress in this area will be presented.
At the close of this edition, the public event 'Net-Zero Spanish Business Forum' will be held, with the participation of high-level representatives of the leading companies of the initiative as well as institutional representation. This event will focus on the energy transition as a mechanism to achieve net-zero emissions.
