Forética presents a renewed edition of the Give & Gain initiative to promote collaboration between companies and NGOs.
  • With a more strategic and transformative approach, the project will be developed throughout 2024 with the aim of giving more continuous visibility to the importance of promoting corporate volunteering and solidarity action by companies.
  • Promoting the professionalization of NGOs and encouraging high-impact partnerships between companies and the third sector will be the key objectives of the initiative.

In its 12 years so far, Give & Gain -under the format of 'Corporate Volunteering and Solidarity Action Week'- has benefited 306,342 people by more than 42,000 volunteers from 605 companies who have collaborated with 810 organizations. Looking ahead to the new year 2024, Forética is presenting a renewed edition of Give & Gainthe benchmark initiative in the field of corporate volunteering and employee solidarity action.

The project will now have a more strategic and transformational approach, with an annual duration, in line with the objective of giving more continuous visibility to the importance of promoting corporate volunteering and solidarity action by companies.

The new initiative 'Give & Gain' has the participation of Banco Santander, Endesa and Informa D&B as driving companies and eleven NGO partners of Forética: Acción contra el Hambre, Aldeas Infantiles SOS, Asociación Reforesta, Ayuda en Acción, Comisión Española de Ayuda al Refugiado (CEAR), Fundación Juan XXIII, Fundación Tomillo, Plan Internacional, Trabajando en Positivo, SEO/BirdLife and World Vision International. In addition, the initiative counts with the collaboration of Soziable as media partner.

The project will focus on fostering high-impact alliances between companies and the third sector, while promoting the professionalization of NGOs. To this end, different milestones will take place during 2024 focused on boosting the visibility and positioning of solidarity action and volunteering from companies, as well as workshops and events.

As relevant knowledge elements published within the framework of the 'Give & Gain' initiative, Forética presented in 2022 the 'Impact on the community: aligning purpose and business strategy' which highlights the importance of promoting the involvement of senior management and employees in projects that are sustainable over time, aligned with the mission and values of the organization and linked to the company's own activity.

A second analysis published by Forética on 'Volunteering and social action as drivers of talent retention' analyzed the current environment marked by change in the world of work and the opportunities that solidarity action presents to companies and employees.
