First online training on social responsibility management according to the SGE 21 Standard
Forética Agreement

Forética and ADAMS Formación are launching the first online course on the social responsibility management system according to the new version of the SGE 21 Standard. The course will be launched on June 18, as the first action resulting from the agreement signed between the two entities to promote training in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.

The SGE 21 is the first European standard -owned by Forética- that allows the implementation, auditing and certification of an ethical and socially responsible management system. The standard makes it possible to systematically and effectively integrate social, environmental and good governance aspects into the strategy and management of organizations, evaluating their compliance and generating continuous improvement.

Originally published in 2000 and revised four times, the SGE 21 is currently the most widely used management standard with more than 120 certified entities in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, in addition to dozens of user companies and more than 1,000 trained professionals. It has nine certification entities that independently evaluate the implementation of the SGE 21 Standard.

Forética has updated the SGE 21 Standard to keep it aligned with the most demanding requirements related to risk management, responsible taxation, human rights in the value chain, climate change, compliance and corruption prevention, and the incorporation of social and environmental objectives in performance evaluation.

The course will update on the requirements of the new version to professionals interested in learning how to implement and evaluate social responsibility management systems, consultants or internal auditors of companies, among others.

Forética and ADAMS promote training in CSR

Under the agreement, both institutions will soon jointly launch other online courses on different topics in the field of sustainability and delivery methods.

To make this initiative possible, Forética shares its knowledge, work and innovation in the development of the contents, while ADAMS Formación carries out the digitalization for eLearning delivery and will make available a virtual platform that will include the necessary tools to make the online courses possible.

The signing of the agreement was attended by Fernando Riaño, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Forética and Mª Jesús Pérez, CEO of ADAMS Formación. The event was also attended by Julia Moreno, Head of SGE 21 of Forética and Eva Pérez, Editorial Director of ADAMS Formación.

In the words of Fernando Riaño, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Forética, "from Forética, as a reference organization in the promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility, we want this agreement to serve as a starting point to promote training in ethical management as a path to responsible leadership and greater competitiveness of our companies and organizations".

For her part, Mª Jesús Pérez, CEO of ADAMS Training, stressed that "training is essential for any society to move forward. By improving training in the area of social responsibility, we will all gain in making our business activity more economically, socially and environmentally sustainable".

Germán Granda, General Director of Forética, explains in this video that social, environmental and good governance demands have made it necessary to implement the SGE 21 Standard.
