Forética has presented the agenda for CSR Spain 2016, which will take place on September 28 at the Duques de Pastrana Complex in Madrid. The key event in CSR and sustainability already has a confirmed agenda with internationally renowned speakers such as Peter Bakker, President and CEO of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, who will give an inspiring speech analyzing the future challenges of social responsibility and how companies can address them.
The line-up of speakers also includes Jill Duggan, Director of the Prince of Wales Climate Change Group. Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge, Ignacio Sanchez, General Manager of Leroy Merlin Spain and Ignacio Corlazzoli, IDB Representative for Europe and Lead Operations Specialist. They will make up the global trends panel.
In addition, attendees will be able to choose the parallel table they wish to attend. These round tables will deal with the main keys to social responsibility, analyzing trends, their application in business cases and the position adopted by the Public Administration. The round table on Integrity and transparency = competitiveness and value creation will be led by Jaime Silos, Director of Corporate Development at Forética, who will analyze the integrity requirements that companies must meet, how to integrate transparency in management and how both elements affect the improvement of competitiveness. Ana Herrero, Director of Projects and Services at Forética, will lead the environmental round table aimed at analyzing the challenges facing companies and society after the Paris Agreement and what will be the keys for companies to act on climate change. Finally, the Director of International Relations, Tomás Sercovich, will lead the panel on social impact, which will focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) .
The event will close with a look to the future, a look to action by everyone, including the attendees. This meeting will set the trends, the keys and the tools for action, because the time for action is now.
