Today marks the start of the 12th edition of Give & Gain 2022, the Week of Corporate Social Action and Volunteering, which will take place until December 20. This initiative highlights the high impact of the social contribution of companies, at a key moment to promote a people-centered recovery.

The initiative has the institutional support of the Presidency of the Government, through the High Commissioner for the Fight against Child Poverty, and the collaboration of Atresmedia, Servimedia and Soziable.es as media partners.

In the 11 previous editions of Give & Gain, more than 36,600 volunteers from 570 companies and 760 organizations have participated in activities that have benefited more than 227,200 people, making it the benchmark initiative in corporate volunteering in Spain. This initiative materializes collaboration and solidarity on the part of companies and organizations, with the aim of maximizing the positive impact on society by making an extra effort to help the most disadvantaged groups.

It aims to concentrate as many corporate volunteering and social action activities as possible during one week, with the ultimate goal of generating recognition for the contribution of companies and the work of volunteers. In addition, Forética's NGO partners play a key role in the program by providing companies with options for collaboration and assistance for which they need volunteers or support from the company.

Ricardo Trujillo, Director of Social Impact and Human Capital at Forética, highlights: "This edition is marked by the reconstruction after the crisis caused by COVID-19, the increase in energy and materials prices, and the war situation in many parts of the world and more recently in Ukraine, where social action and the commitment of companies, NGOs and public institutions is essential to promote a sustainable and inclusive recovery".

This year more than 70 companies and entities nationwide are participating. Among the participating companies are: Atresmedia, Bankinter, Bureau Veritas, Capital Energy, Cecabank, CEEI Valencia, Chiesi, DKV Seguros, Fundación Accenture, Fundación Pryconsa, Fundación Quirónsalud, Fundación Tomillo, GSK, Greenalia, Grupo Cajamar, Incarlopsa, Laken Productos Deportivos, Leroy Merlin, Lilly, Línea Directa Aseguradora, Livensa Living, Lyma Getafe, ManpowerGroup, Microsoft Ibérica, Mutualidad de la Abogacía, Parques Reunidos and Fundación Parques Reunidos, P&G, REVENGA Smart Solutions, Santalucía, SAP, Solarpack, Solvay Química and Yves Rocher España, collaborating with NGOs such as Aldeas Infantiles, Comisión Española de Ayuda al Refugiado (CEAR) and Fundación Tomillo, among others.
