LLYC becomes a Forética partner

LLYC has announced today its incorporation as a partner of Forética, the business organization of reference in Spain in the field of sustainability and social responsibility. With this initiative, LLYC reinforces its commitment to ethical management and joins an ecosystem of allies working together for sustainable development.

LLYC is today the largest Spanish-owned communications consultancy, leader in the corporate communications and public affairs sector in Spain and Latin America. With more than 1,000 employees in 12 countries, it will be listed on the BME Growth market as of July 2021, as stated in its 2021 annual report. The company is currently immersed in the preparation of its 2023-2025 strategic plan, which will integrate social, environmental and good governance issues in a transversal manner in the different areas of work. For Almudena Alonso, senior director of stakeholder management at LLYC, "this alliance is a big step forward in our firm commitment to sustainability, which we have been working on for some time now to ensure alignment between the company's performance and what our stakeholders expect. We are confident that with the support of Forética and the learning from other partners, we will be able to advance all our initiatives in the environmental, social and good governance and transparency areas".

LLYC works from its purpose of promoting understanding and trust that generate economic and social value and has deployed a sustainability plan in all its operations under the framework of its code of ethics. It has a sustainable purchasing policy and commitments in terms of sustainable office and circular economy. Its social commitment is firm and projects such as "Transparentes" to promote the labor inclusion of trans people or "Voces futuras", focused on mentoring young talents, are some of the most emblematic. In addition, through the LLYC Foundation, it promotes social change by generating value through communication. Through the LLYC Foundation, the group's professionals have the opportunity to put their time and knowledge at the service of NGOs, foundations and non-profit organizations that are its "social partners". These initiatives are carried out through a corporate volunteering format called "1+1", according to which, for every hour of free time dedicated by the volunteer to a solidarity project, LLYC gives another hour of his or her working day.

Germán Granda, CEO of Forética, stressed that "the incorporation of LLYC as a partner of Forética means being part of a network in which we work for a triple objective: to increase business ambition in sustainability, accelerate action to address ESG challenges (environmental, social and good governance), and strengthen alliances that allow us to face a sustainable, green and inclusive recovery".
