The President of Navarra and President of the Public Business Corporation of Navarra (CPEN), María Chivite, has held a meeting with the General Director of Forética and Secretary of the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development, who has presented her with the roadmap Vision 2050. The time for transformation'..

The 'Vision 2050' aims to inspire and accelerate action by Spanish companies in the face of the important environmental, social and governance (ESG) challenges we face. This roadmap was presented at the executive meeting of the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development, held in February under the honorary presidency of H.M. King Felipe VI.

Formed by a practical vision by incorporating a 'CEO Toolkit', the 'Vision 2050' is a concrete landing to the Spanish business reality of the global vision presented by the WBCSD. It aims to guide companies in the development of actions that shape the systemic transformations necessary to realize the shared vision of a world in which more than 9 billion people can live in dignity, within the planetary boundaries.

Germán Granda, CEO of Forética, highlights: "Our 'Vision 2050' is the most comprehensive roadmap for sustainable development, and it is necessary that those who hold political responsibility for the future of sustainability in our country incorporate it into their medium and long-term strategies. Success or failure in achieving this roadmap will depend on the economy's ability to reinvent itself, on companies being able to build long-term resilience that allows them to adapt to upcoming disruptions, and a regenerative approach that helps restore and nurture the social and environmental systems on which business depends."

This roadmap identifies nine priority systems for transformation: Energy, Transportation and Mobility, Living Spaces, Products and Materials, Financial Products and Services, Connectivity, Health and Wellness, Water and Sanitation, and Food. According to the President of Navarra and President of the Public Business Corporation of Navarra (CPEN), María Chivite, "the sustainability promotion strategy that we are promoting from the regional government is fully aligned with the levers of action included in the 'Vision 2050' roadmap".
