Today in Barcelona, Forética presented the current campaign of the European Enterprise 2020 project, which the organization is leading in Spain with the aim of promoting and disseminating best practices in CSR. Under the framework of "The Future of Work", this campaign seeks to show how companies are responding to the technological revolution and to a society in constant evolution from the perspective of sustainability.

The first regional meeting of the Enterprise 2020 project was attended by Josep Ginesta, Secretary General of Employment, Social Affairs and Families of the Generalitat de Catalunya, who announced the support of the Generalitat to the project, joining as institutional support, along with the twelve autonomous governments that already collaborate with the initiative.

The Enterprise 2020 session held today served to learn about the keys to the role of business in the future of work and to explore in depth how the company responds to the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainability through new technologies.

In this regard, the session analyzed good business practices with the participation of Montserrat Moliner, Director of Communication, Institutional Relations and CSR of ManpowerGroup and Enric Delgado, Distinguished Engineer CTO of IBM Cloud SPGI. In addition, experts from the academic, social, business and political world were able to discuss national trends in this area.

The CEO of Forética, Germán Granda, called on companies and organizations to present their high-impact projects in the areas of technological transformation and youth employment in order to be part of Enterprise 2020, and stressed the power of collaboration to make visible the potential of technological advances as allies of sustainability and employability.

The campaign has IBM, ManpowerGroup, Reale Seguros and Vodafone as partners in this initiative, and the institutional support of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, and twelve regional governments (Aragón, Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Catalonia, Extremadura, Galicia, Balearic Islands, La Rioja, Community of Madrid, Region of Murcia and Community of Valencia) and the Cabildo of Tenerife.

Call for participation in Enterprise 2020

Until November 30, companies can submit their initiative by filling out the questionnaire in two possible lines of action: Responsible Technological Transformation and Pact for Youth.

The initiatives that want to apply must have been developed in 2017/2018, have measurable results and be oriented to incorporate technology, considering ethical criteria in their decisions, or aimed at generating opportunities and improving the working conditions of people and boosting employability.

Within the framework of Responsible Technological Transformation, Enterprise 2020 is looking for business examples that show the positive social impact of incorporating technological advances (artificial intelligence, blockchain, robots, Big Data, autonomous mobility, among others), as well as examples of the resolution of ethical challenges arising from the use of these technologies.

For its part, the Youth Pact axis will compile good practices that promote the employability and talent of young people or the promotion of the link between education and business and STEM skills.

The selected projects will receive public recognition and will be highlighted at the European level as the best solutions from companies in Spain to the challenge of the future of work.
