In ESG Spain 2023 we analyze the future of sustainability from the CEO perspective, the challenges and opportunities of Generative Artificial Intelligence and corporate action on environmental, social and governance issues.
In this 11th edition, with the participation of more than 20 speakers from leading companies, we have the support of Accenture, Amazon, CaixaBank, Chiesi, Coca-Cola, EDP, ENGIE, Mahou San Miguel, McKinsey & Company and Mutualidad.
The forum, produced once again this year by Atresmedia, was held at the Real Fábrica de Tapices in Madrid, where more than 330 people attended in person, and was also followed live via streaming by more than 1,500 spectators.

This year's themes focused on the importance of increasing ambition in sustainability at a key moment for business transformation, taking into account that it must be sustainable, green and inclusive. In addition, the need to accelerate action to maximize environmental and social impact as a fundamental part of business strategy was addressed.
Those present, important experts in the field of sustainability at national and international level, stressed the importance of integrating the new sustainable governance in the strategy of companies as a factor of competitiveness.

The more than 20 speakers highlighted the importance of accelerating business action on sustainability, from the highest level of ambition to address the significant challenges we face in the context of post-COVID-19 transformation and reconstruction, addressing key national and international trends from the ESG angle.
Chaired by His Majesty King Felipe VI, the ESG Spain Honorary Committee is made up of a total of 42 members, comprising senior institutional representatives, as well as the 35 Presidents and CEOs of the sponsoring partner companies.
This edition was supported by: Bankia, IKEA, ManpowerGroup, MSD, Naturgy and P&G.
With the message "Increasing ambition and accelerating action, key levers to ensure a sustainable recovery", the meeting presented the main trends in the social, environmental and good governance fields, which will lay the foundations for a common challenge: achieving a sustainable future. And all this with a special focus of analysis: the COVID-19 crisis.
H.M. King Felipe VI presided over the Honorary Committee of this eighth edition, which was made up of high-level representatives from both institutional and business levels.

Among the topics discussed this year were: climate change, transparency, circular economy, human rights, urban sustainability and the future of work.
With the message "It's time to act, time for sustainability", the meeting presented the trends that are shaping the development of sustainability at international level by renowned experts in the field.
